Jason Bright To Race Thundernats
V8 Supercar driver Jason Bright plans to race his KZ2 Kosmic at the Thundernats early next year.
Bright confirmed with KartSportNews that he's keen to tackle the Thunderdome kart event, providing it doesn't clash with the official V8 Supercars test.
"The official test is usually a couple of weeks before the first round, but next year's calendar hasn't been announced yet. If there isn't a clash, I'll be there" Bright said.
Organiser Matt Wall said Bright is just the first of several star names he hopes to entice to the event, saying he knows several other 'name' drivers and riders who own go-karts...
Wall also said that the date of the Thundernats has now been put back one week to January 28.
"The 28th will be a long weekend (Australia Day is on Thursday, the 26th), which will make it easier for the interstate entrants to get there" he said.
