2011 Monaco Cup Cancelled

The CIK-FIA has advised that this year's Monaco Kart Cup, scheduled for 14-16 October, has been cancelled.

The annual event has been called off before, not running in 2003, 2004 or 2005 due to works on the famous harbour front.

The A.C.M. (Automobile Club de Monaco) cited 'technical reasons' for the cancellation, which involves the Junior Grand Prix for KF3, the KZ2 Monaco Kart Cup and a 6-hour endurance race.

The A.C.M. hopes to be able to organise the 15th edition of its Karting event on 12, 13 and 14 October next year.
