Former Karter Aims for World Record

This website does not normally cover what former karters are doing outside of the sport of karting, however, this effort is a bit different.

Christian D'Agostin will be attempting to break a time record across Bass Strait on a Jetski, and at the same time raise money and awareness for prostate cancer.

The 'Prom to Point' journey was originally scheduled for June, but is now set to take place early August. Two Jetskis will leave Wilsons Prom (Vic) and head for Deavonport (Tas). D'Agostin hopes to complete the task inside five-and-a-half hours.

Donations for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia can be made via the Everyday Hero website HERE.

Now Gold Coast based, D'Agostin raced karts in Melbourne in the late 80s/early 90s and has competed in various car racing categories since.
