Australasian C & D Grade Titles
Around 150 drivers from three states converged on the Gippsland club’s Morwell circuit on the weekend for the 12th annual Australasian C & D Grade Titles.
The meeting offers a unique chance for beginners and club-level racers to compete in a major event and showcase their skills without having to take on A and B grade drivers.

“It's giving them the chance to win something and to learn a lot more and get them used to when they go up to a higher grade and bigger classes in bigger events” the club’s Alfi Prestipino informed KartSportNews.
Local drivers fared well in the changing and sometimes greasy conditions. Cruz Cody (Clubman Light and Clubman Heavy) and Ben Schena (Junior National Medium and Junior National Heavy) both won two classes. Other Gippsland members to enjoys wins were Neville Watt (Sportsman Medium), Jayden O’Sullivan (Junior National Light), Alfi Prestipino (Sportsman Heavy), Michael Clarke (Sportsman Light) and John Schena (Clubman Over 40s).
Geelong's Jordyn Sinni won the Midgets class while Oakleigh's Mick Fisher and Luke Guillou won Clubman Super Heavy and Rookies respectively. A number of podium trophies have also found new homes in Tasmania.
