Rogers Wins Roookie Title

Josh Rogers was fast the moment he first hit the track for Friday night's practice 2011 South East Queensland Midget/Rookie Titles atIpswich. His brand new Kosmic needed very little set up and in the cold night air produced some scorching lap times.

Race day produced a great turn out with 110 competitors in total,17 of them Rookies.

Ready for a tough days racing against locals Zane Goddard, Damon Ash, Randy Morgan, Harrison Oddie and 12 others, he was off to a flyer qualifing 4 tenths faster than any other competitior in the field and winning the first heat by the length of the straight.

Josh was just as dominant in the second race leading right from the start to finish and powered by an awesome brand new MG Engine built Yamaha J rocketed to a win in the final heat and taking the overall victory.

"Thanks Remo, the previous Kosmic was fast and this one is even faster" Josh said.

hat a great combination: Josh Rogers, Kosmic, MG Engines: Josh is now looking forward to the QLD Closed Titles in Gladstone, the NSW State Titles in Newcastle and the Supercheap Final Round at Gladstone.
