Mitic Making Waves in Rookie Championships

press release

Western Australia’s newest and youngest National motor racing export is now proving himself both on a local level, as well as creating opportunities nationwide as he brings more strong performances home after each meeting.

Contesting the ever growing rookie class, Nick Mitic has returned victorious from the popular Northern Territory State Titles to compete at the popular ‘King of the Hill’ meeting at Wundowie Kart Club. Nick sat on the front row for the opening heat, and sprung to the lead from the beginning to claim yet another triumph. This would be wear Mitic would remain to eventually take a clean sweep of the weekend.

Nick stated following the win, “over the last couple of weekends the kart has been faultless, we have got the Lombardi Bros arrow chassis on song, and I’m feeling very confident for the state championships in a month’s time.”

In light of the upcoming WA State Titles, Nick used the annual shakedown meeting in Albany as preparation alongside many other successful rookies. Mitic was again unstoppable in the changing conditions, even claiming pole by 2 tenths. As with previous races, Nick managed yet another clean sweep, and thus truly showing his natural ability since joining the Karting fraternity.

“I was very fast in the dry, then in the final the rain started falling, I wasn’t sure how I was going to go because I haven’t been in the wet weather for a while, but I ended up winning by a fair distance so we were very happy with our result,” Mitic concluded.

Nick is now in full preparation for the Western Australia State Titles to take place at the Albany Kart Club on October 7-9.

Nick Mitic Motorsport would like to thank their sponsors for their continued support; Flat Out Kart, Lombardi Bros, Zana Spare parts, Redtavela Ceramics, Global Autocoat and Autostrada
