Behrens Wins 'Formula Para'

Bright sunshine and summer temperatures featured at the sixth and final round of the North German Kart Challenge recently.

Drivers from neighbouring countries such as Belgium, Poland, Holland and Austria took part in the event, as did did a half dozen drivers battling for the 'Formula Para' Championship.

Using especially converted karts with hand throttle and brakes, the title was far from settled entering the final round.

Oliver Siedenberg was constantly attacked by Christian Röhrs, but it was Patrick Behrens who got through and won the finals ahead of Rohrs, Siedenberg, Carsten Bartling and Detlef Zinke.
