Once again the Golden Power Series has been run and won at the five different racetracks this year around Victoria. A tremendous entry at Puckapunyal for the final round made for a great Saturday night with the lucky prize draws held in the clubrooms.

Approximatley 315 meals were served along with 90 prizes given away. The mayor prize of a five star executive houseboat on the Murray River was won by Bendigo member Jamie Harrington. This boat sleeps twelve people - I bet he has some friends now!

Average entry over the five rounds was 237, and there was approximately $55,000 worth of prizes & trophies given away.

As the Series Co-ordinator i would like to thank the following clubs for their continued commitment to this great event: Albury/Wondonga, Bendigo, Eastern Lions, Gippsland & Rochester. I would also like to thank all the volunteers & karters for their continued support.
