Big Prize Pool For 2012 British Super One Series

The 2012 'Ginetta' Super One Series in the UK will boast a significant prize fund. For 2011, the prize pool was around £60,000 in cash and vouchers, plus the five free entries to the just held Rotax Grand Finals.

For 2012, the winners in Rotax Max, Junior Max and Max 177/Masters will each receive a free entry to the 2012 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals.

In addition, each will receive a prize of an engine, and so will the top Rookie in each of these classes plus MiniMax, all courtesy of Super One and JAG, Rotax distributors for the UK.

All Rookie overall winners will also enjoy a full factory tour of the Mercedes GP Petronas F1 team.

Further, and new for 2012, the top Max 177 Rookie driver at each round will receive a £300 cash prize and the overall 177 Rookie £500.  And the best overall Max 177/Masters driver in the series will be awarded £1500, the second placed £750 and third will get £500.

In Formula KGP the top three in the series will each receive a Formula Renault test, and the KF3, Junior Max and Junior TKM champions all have a Ginetta G40 test lined up for them, subject to age. Another benefit for all competitors is a great discount package from Alamo, one of the biggest car and van rental companies.

Subject to entries remaining similar to 2011, the ABkC in conjunction with its valued tyre suppliers Dunlop, Bridgestone, Maxxis/Tal-Ko and Mojo/JAG will award approximately £19,000 in cash prizes, and this will be matched by the Super One Series in cash and vouchers.

Super One Series will be exhibiting at KartMania and the Autosport International Racing Car Shows, taking registrations and providing information.
