Prize Pool Growing for Junior Top Guns

The prize pool is continuing to grow for Junior Top Guns as the Oakleigh club announces more sponsors for the event. Junior Top Guns runs over two consecutive nights (each its own standalone round), Friday January 20 and Saturday January 21.

"Along with Junior Racing Development, Arrow and J&A Tuning, we now have Yamaha, MKC, Master Karting and Tony Kart Australia on board" club President Adam Bourke informed KartSportNews.

Prizes now include:

  • Cash for each class
  • Formula Vee test drive
  • Arrow Cadet/Rookie chassis
  • $2000 worth of Yamaha merchandise
  • Dunlop Tyres
  • Other giveaways

Classes will be, Cadets, Rookies, JNL C&P, JNL, JNH C&P, JNH, Junior Clubman and JMAX. Practice will be from 12-midday to 4pm on both days. Racing will start around 5pm.

(The selection process for the F/Vee test drive is different to previous years. Interested competitors must pre register via the JRD web site www.juniorracing.com.au and compete over the two nights that constitute the series to be eligible.)
