Pro Gearbox Weight Remains Unchanged For 2012

Further to the media release distributed on Tuesday December 20, 2011 regarding the 2012 CIK Stars of Karting Series, the International Karting Committee (IKC) would like to advise the following.
After considering all of the feedback that has been received, the minimum weight for the Pro Gearbox (KZ2) category in 2012 will be 180kg (no change from 2011).
Members of the IKC will continue to monitor the weight for this category throughout 2012 to ensure it continues to make decisions that are in the best interest of the series and all competitors.
The IKC would like to thank the competitors for their feedback on this matter and hopes that everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas.
