Kosmic Racing NSW Announces CIK Lineup

Former CIK Stars of Karting series Co-ordinator Peter Galvin is the team principle of the newly formed Kosmic Racing NSW team. The outfit will field several drivers in this years' championship, including former champion Cian Fothergill.

Having recently spent time with the Kosmic Racing Department at the Japan round of the World Championships, Galvin has garnered support from the factory via Olivier Marechal from Europe, along with the Australian importer, Remo Luciani (Remo Racing).

Galvin has also secured the Sydney NSW dealership of the famous brand and believes in the old saying ‘win on Sunday, sell on Monday’, so he will be leaving no stone unturned in the quest to perform well.

In addition to Fothergill (digitally enhanced pic, right), the Kosmic Racing NSW lineup will include Mathew Waters, Daniel Holihan and Dimitri Agathos, who is preparing for his second year in the Pro Junior (KF3) category.

Mathew Boylan and Elle Brydon will be competing in the Australian Leopard Challenge aboard the purple karts.

These drivers will make up the 'factory' team, however Jacob Parsons will race alongside the squad, but under the banner of Troy Hunt's Top Gun Racing Team.

The team hopes to announce more drivers and is aiming to have representation in the Yamaha Challenge classes of Clubman and Junior National.

“I think its very important to be able to showcase the Kosmic Chassis in both of the Yamaha classes as well as the other classes" said Galvin.

"This is a great opportunity for some young drivers to experience a factory team and the support that comes with it."

Australian Kosmic importer Remo Luciani is very excited about the upcoming year.

“I can’t wait to see the Kosmic Racing NSW team in action. They will also be working close with JAM Racing, who are also supported by me and are the Victorian arm of the Kosmic team” he said.
