Schumacher Karting Prior to F1 Tests

Michael Schumacher has been out on the kart track again, this time at Lonato on January 26. One presumes the former World Champ was there speeding his 43-year old brain up prior to the Formula One tests which commence at Jerez next Tuesday. Then again, he might have just been out having fun, fanging around with some mates...

Above: It was actually Tony Kart Racing Team's official 2-day test and presentation of their 2012 drivers, and the track was busy with many teams and drivers preparing for the Winter Cup on Feb 19. The factory has called Schumi the Godfather of the 2012 race team! Schumacher drove a Tony Kart-Vortex KZ Shifter for most of the test, but also sampled a few laps in a KF2.
