Queensland’s leading kart retailer KAOS Karting has again joined forces with Arrow Racing Karts to add to its roster of drivers with Ipswich-based junior Brock Plumb joining the team.

brock plumb15-year-old Plumb and family have a long-term working relationship with Pete Crossingham from KAOS and the top junior racer will shift to Arrow for his 2012 race campaign which will include the CIK Stars of Karting Series presented by Castrol Edge.

2012 will be the third year for Plumb contesting the Stars of Karting Series in the Pro Junior (KF3) category.  The hotly contested junior category saw Plumb take out runner-up in 2010 and 5th in 2011.

Brock also recently competed in the Trophy of New Zealand CIK race in Wellington where he finished a creditable 2nd. “We welcome Brock to the Arrow family and we look forward to helping Brock achieve his goals in 2012. He has a proven track record and we hope that he will take advantage of the added benefits of our alignment, including the cash incentives on offer as part of our rewarding Arrow driver initiative,” said Drew Price, managing director of Arrow Racing Karts.

A consistent and versatile performer in the kart, Plumb and his team plan to build on past success which includes 2 state titles, 2nd at the Australian titles and many podiums at State level.

“Much of our preparation has focused on getting a fantastic start to 2012 in the Arrow X1 and there is a huge amount of excitement for the racing which kicks off with the first CIK Stars of Karting series next week in South Australia, said Plumb.

“I have the added anticipation of working alongside the hugely respected Arrow mentors of Darren Hossack and Adam Klunyk which I feel will be a great support to myself and the team with their technical expertise. I am just so honoured to get this opportunity and would like to thank Drew Price and the Arrow team, Peter Crossingham, Graham Armstrong (Gratec Engines) and my family for their support and aim to do them proud'' said Brock.

Plumb will take to the track in 2012 contesting the Rotax Pro Tour, Rotax Nationals, AKA Nationals, selected State Titles and the CIK Stars of Karting all aboard an Arrow Kart.
