Karter to Get F1 Ride

Nepean Speedway Kart Club member Greg Coghlan has won a lap of the Albert Park track in the Swisse Vitamins sponsored two-seater Formula 1 car, plus a personal meeting with Mark Webber, at this year's Grand Prix in Melbourne.

Greg is the father of Brent Coghlan, who ran so well in the Masters class at the Rotax World Final last year.

"He entered because his granddaughter, Taylor Coghlan, aged 12 and also a Speedway karter, wanted to enter but couldn’t because she was under 18" Greg's daughter inlaw Samantha informed KartSportNews.

The 58-year old is hoping to take Taylor with him to watch.
