Get Your Gear To The 2012 AKA Nationals

The 2012 AKA Nationals will be run in Darwin on July 6 to 8. The weekend prior is the NT Championships at the same venue – a perfect shakedown event that offers blue plates.

For many karting families, getting to the 50th running of the Nationals is going to be one hell of a road trip.

To help eliminate days on the road, St George Karts (Sydney) and Peter Klein (Melbourne) have got transport deals to get karts and equipment to Darwin.

Klein’s PK Transport will be sending a truck and trailer to Darwin, leaving Melbourne Sunday June 24. He can pick up others along the way, such as Adelaide, if need be. Return to Melbourne is Wednesday, July 11.

“The price is $550 per kart, but for that price I need 20 karts” Klein told KartSportNews. “If I don't get that many, the price will be $650 per kart.” He’s also capable of doing deals to Pro Tour rounds, and the Coffs Harbour Over 40s Titles if there is enough interest.

For further details, call Peter Klein – 0408 660 423.

St George Kart Centre is also offering return transport from Sydney to Darwin, allowing competitors to race at both events. The price is $1000 + GST.
