press release

Team Adrenaline Kart Sport have kicked off their 2012 Karting season with 6 podiums from the 9 team drivers contesting the opening round of the Festival State Cup at the Mt Gambier Kart Track on the weekend.

In true standout performances by Alex Baker, Andrew Cash, Josh Angus and Leigh Cocker, all four took race wins and podiums in their respective categories; in addition, the remaining Adrenaline drivers achieved results that were to be admired in their own categories, giving the team an outstanding boost of confidence heading into a big year of racing.

Daniel Wallis supported by Spitwater was solid in only his third meeting with Team Adrenaline on board his DR Kart, yielding yet another podium finish. Andrew Harpas struggled early in the weekend only to bounce back on Sunday and return to the lead pack in Clubman Light. Aaron Wilamowski also showed some great pace on board his X30 powered M92 with his times consistently placing amongst the front runners.

Team Principal David Brewer added, “I am extremely happy with the efforts of all our drivers over the weekend and after some troubles on Saturday for some of the guys, they all worked hard and bounced back on Sunday to end up with great results. It proves that the team is a benchmark in South Australia and we are looking forward to travelling interstate and taking it to Australia's best.”

Team Adrenaline Kart Sport have a busy time ahead with the Australasian Titles in Mildura at Easter, followed by the King of KZ at Winton and SA Closed State titles in the coming weeks.
