Chassis Partners Announced For Rotax World Final

Four companies will provide their chassis for the four categories contested at the 2012 Rotax World Finals in Portugal later this year.

Birel, Sodi and Haase will supply the Junior MAX, Senior MAX and DD2 Masters classes, as they did in 2011.

Newcommer to the World Final, German manufacturer Mach1, will supply chassis for DD2, taking over from long time supplier CRG. The actual models to be used during the event will be announced at a later date.

"Chassis partners play a very important role" BRP-Powertrain wrote in a statement. "Their top quality products, their professionalism in doing business as well as the experience and knowledge of their employees will support the spirit of the grand finals - 'fair racing on an even playfield'."

This will be the 13th edition of the the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals and will be held in Portimao (P) on 28 November through 1 December.

The DD2 Masters category will grow by another 10 drivers to 58. This will make a total 274 entrants from up to 60 countries - the biggest number in the history of the event.
