Sera To Make FF Debut

David Sera has confirmed his karting career is on hold as he moves to Formula Ford, making his open-wheeler debut at Phillip Island this weekend.

speedcafe.com reports that this will be Sera's first of seven Formula Ford events this year.

“Karting is on hold and I’m going full hog at the race car stuff,” Sera told Speedcafe.com.

“It’s a whole new ball game – gears, shocks, suspension, things that I’m not used to in karting. However, the fundamentals of race craft and race lines come naturally from karting."

Sera expressed he would still like to race with Arrow in Las Vegas in November.
