Emerald Kart Track Finally Open

The Emerald Kart Track in Queensland was set to host its first official practice session today, followed by a come-and-try day tomorrow.

Emerald Karting Club vice president Dean Davies told Central Queensland News that he had been inundated with queries as to the track's status.

"Everybody wants to race so let's get them out there and race" Davies said.

The come-and-try day will cost $10 per person and includes a kart test drive, all safety gear and fuel. Members of the public are invited to attend from 9am. Food and drink will be available at the track.
