Kosmic Times At NT Championships

press release

Some great results from the NT State titles in Darwin last weekend saw young Dimitri Agathos in Jnr Clubman on the podium and also Matt Waters finished on the podium in Clubman Light, both in their Kosmic TS30 chassis.

Ben Stewart gabbed a State Title In Leopard class aboard his Kosmic and young Joel Jamieson was outstanding in Cadets aboard his Kosmic.

Agathos in only his second meeting in the TS30 Kosmic charged through the Junior Clubman field after a fuel problem caused him to qualify in 17th position for the championship. Agathos showed everyone just how fast he and the Kosmic are as he made his way through to start 3rd in the final.

In the final Dimitri positioned himself into 2nd early but unfortunately another competitor came into contact with him dropping him down to 4th. Agathos and his Kosmic TS30 then put up a great fight to drive back to 2nd, unfortunately the gap was to big to first. to mount a serious attempt.

Matt Waters qualified on the front row of the prestige's clubman light class aboard his Kosmic TS30. Waters in only his second meeting in his new chassis was very happy saying he thought he could find even more speed from the chassis.

"Its so easy to drive and every change we make the kart reacts giving me great feel and confidence in the chassis". Waters would card a DNF during the heats but he and the Kosmic showed true pace to finish 2nd in the final after a very eventful final.

Joel Jamieson improved out of sight to come from 14th to 4th aboard his Kosmic in the Cadet class showing everyone just how good he will be. He also proved the Kosmic chassis will work in any class.

Ben Stewart was the winner of the Leopard Light Class. He had a great run in his Kosmic Mercury as he dominated the field and was never headed grabbing the blue plate and moving as one of the favourites for the Leopard light National title.

Stewart also ran very competitive in the Kosmic TS30 in Clubman Light showing everyone he will be one to watch at the nationals. Stewart charged from last to get to 5th in clubman light only to get caught in another crash.

Message from Peter Galvin, Kosmic Racing Australia, team manager:

"Its great to see the Kosmic chassis working well for our drivers, the results with the TS 30 are very encouraging and as allways the Mercury is a leader in the 125 classes". said Peter. "Remo Luciani will be at the nationals to help any Kosmic drivers with tech support"

"Kosmic Racing Australia would like to thank all Kosmic drivers for your support and we wish you all the best luck at the Nationals this weekend"

ITS KOOL TO RACE KOSMIC !
