Opportunity To Race On TV & For A State Championship

press release

Lease options available in Pro Light (KF1) and Pro Junior (KF3) for final round

The final round of the CIK Stars of Karting Series presented by Castrol EDGE the be hosted by the Go-Kart Club of Victoria on September 22/23 will be the only Australian karting event broadcast on television this year.

Not only is it the final round of Australia’s elite championship, but it also doubles as the Victorian State Championship for the CIK-specification categories – Pro Light (KF1), Pro Gearbox (KZ2) and Pro Junior (KF3).

A number of top-level teams have equipment able to be leased out to interested competitors for the event in the Pro Light (KF1) and Pro Junior (KF3) categories.

These packages vary from complete turn-key options to an engine only, and everything in between.

“I believe the CIK Stars of Karting Series provides the best value for money and exposure than any other events in the country,” said Kosmic Racing Australia’s Peter Galvin.

“Once people are a part of an event, they get to understand the huge number of racing laps in a race weekend and the high level of professionalism within the series.

“We’re just one of a number of teams who are willing to open the door for people to come and be a part of, and I look forward to some more new drivers getting a taste of the series at the final round.  After all it is going to be on tv and is also the Victorian State Championship – do you need many more reasons?”

As an added incentive, as has been the case for the majority of 2012, all newcomers to the series will receive a free set of race tyres to use at the event courtesy of Dunlop Kartsport and Series Organisers.

With the engines in both the Pro Light (KF1) and Pro Junior (KF3) categories remaining the same for next year, by competing in the final round of this year’s series it also provides competitors with an opportunity to get ahead for their 2013 championship campaign.

Drivers who are interested in being a part of the event through a lease deal should contact Lee Hanatschek on 0403 531 914 or lee@starsofkarting.com.au

Also being contested alongside the Pro categories at the event will be the Yamaha (Clubman and Junior National) and Australian Leopard Challenges.  To view the supplementary regulations please click here.
