Two Australians are on the entry list for the upcoming second round of the CIK Karting World Championships in Macau. Cian Fothergill and Matthew Waters will both race Kosmic/Vortex/Bridgestone at the 19-21 October event under the Kosmic Racing Australia banner. It is believed this is the first all-Aussie team to compete in the World Karting Championships in over 20 years. Joshau Smith will also drive for the team in the KF3 Asia Pacific Championship. At the CIK presentation night on Sunday evening, James Courtney pulled Justin Ford's name from the draw to race in the Japan Yamaha Cup and represent Australia in the KT100SEC Junior Class at the Sugo Circuit on 3rd and 4th of November.

The drive is sponsored by Yamaha Australia, but there are still costs that need to be covered, so Juzzy is raising money to make the trip.

"We met with the Yamaha Australia representative Adam (Wolfenden) to confirm travel and race details and Dad & I will be flying out on Monday 29th October and return Tuesday 6th November. Jordie plans to come too but he'll be booking his own flights when he gets home from Coffs Harbour" Ford posted on facebook.
