The 2012 Kingston Cup is being held on Saturday October 6 at the Oakleigh kart rack. Yes, it is Bathurst weekend, but dont forget the Oakleigh club has a great cafeteria area which includes television, so you can enjoy your karting and keep up with the V8s!

This event is a day/night meeting showcasing just 7 classes. Having few classes compete allows more laps to be run per class. Entry for this event closes Wednesday October 3.

Classes being offered are: Cadets, Rookies, Junior National Medium, Junior Clubman, Sportsman Restricted Medium, Sportsman Medium and Clubman Medium.

There will be one 5 x minute qualifying session, followed by one x 10 lap heat, 12 lap pre-final and 15 lap final. The first three to cross the line in the final will be awarded with trophies.

Timetable

• Gates open 8am
• Entry confirmation 9.30am – 11.30am
• Controlled practice 9am – 12pm
• Drivers briefing 12.30pm
• Qualifying to be held after drivers briefing
• Racing starts at the completion of qualifying

Ensure you bring a clear visor as once the track lighting is switched on, no tinted visors are permitted to be used.
