  • Motocross star Chad Reed has done what many can only dream of; building a kart track in his own back yard. More, including video, on karting1.co.uk HERE.

  • Part-time Indycar driver Jay Howard has taken on the United States distribution rights for the Praga product line. 'Praga USA' is a new company that was launched at the recent Rotax Pan American Championship and is located in Indianapolis. Praga USA will house a national level race team, offer sales of karting equipment as well as set up dealers throughout the United States. "Having my own race team and a product that I can be in charge of is something that has been a goal of mine for quite sometime" Howard said.

  • The Eastern Goldfields club's annual Da$h for Ca$h will take place in Kalgoorlie on November 10 and 11. A minimum prize of $10,000 has been pledged for the Open Performance/KZ2 Invitational class. There will also be a Pro Leopard class ($5k prize), with all the usual categories also on the card. "(There is) 10k on the line again, 5k to the winner" organiser Michael Patrizi informed KartSportNews. "Big race with over 30 drivers already with some special internationals that will be announced next week. Freight for eastern state KZ2 drivers is covered" he added.
