Above: National champ Brendan Nelson won the Leopard Heavy pre-final (and also the Clubman Heavy pre-final) but dropped to 4th in the final. He was runner up in the Clubman class.

Above: Spencer Ackermann endured a nasty roll over in the second heat of JNL after riding a rear wheel. The two drivers pictured here, Andrew Gameau (L) and Josh Denton (R), sacrificed their own races stopping their karts to help lift the machine off the trapped Ackermann. The duo was thanked and applauded by all in attendance at Sunday drivers' briefing for showing true sportsmanship. (for the record, Ackermann was back in action afterwards and placed 15th in the final.)
