Arrow Welcomes Two New DD2 Drivers for 2013 Pro TourTweet
press release Arrow Karts are happy to announce that former Tony Kart drivers Shane Karandrews and good friend Julian Watts will be suiting up in their Arrow colours and competing in the 2013 Rotax Pro Tour. Shane was the series winner last year with victories at Port Melbourne, Albury & Warwick and was the pacesetter at the Gympie round before a DNF in the final while leading. Julian was always at the heels of the front runners and proved his race craft with several podium results throughout the Pro Tour series. Both drivers will be aboard the recently launched X2-DD2 chassis which debuted at the Canberra round with Damian Ward. The X2 chassis was an instant front runner and will prove to be a serious championship winning product throughout this upcoming Pro Tour series. Shane said he "is looking forward to competing in the highly competitive DD2 Masters class up against several leading drivers that have a couple of years of racing experience in the DD2 class but Julian & I will be working extra hard over the next couple months in readiness for the Port Melbourne round where I tasted success last year. "I am also very confident that Julian & I have the right package that can maximise our experience and deliver success. The X2 Kart has proven it is a race winner and with support from Dale at Pacific Kartsport, JT Motorsport and Arrow karts I am very excited about the year ahead."
