Elliott Wins On Debut As Klarich Takes WA KZ Series
Jake Klarich won the 2014 FMA Motorsport WA KZ Series at Hurricane Kart Club's King of the Hill meeting last weekend. Klarich had a relatively easy run to the championship after rival Blake Mills sufferred two DNFs. The night's 25-lap final was won by series debutant Jesse Elltiott. Karting Australia today announced it's plan for the sport in this country. Key elements include the introduction of 60cc Vortex Mini Rok and 100cc IAME Reedjet engines to replace (over a period of time) Comer SW80, Yamaha S & J. State and National Championships will be re-structured to a series of events for limited classes rather than one-off meetings.
