Ensbey Joins CRG Australia's 2015 Lineup

press release 15 March 2015

The CRG Australia line up for the 2015 Australian Kart Championship will see a mix of youth and experience in the team.

In a major bonus for the team, last year’s third placed runner in the KZ2 Championship Kyle Ensbey will be joining the top flight outfit.

Ensbey, who sits third on the all-time winners list for the class and second on the number of laps lead, will join long-time CRG trio Jason Pringle, Mason Barbera and Mathew Erdman in the chase for the John Pizarro Trophy.

Also joining Ensbey in the move to the team will be Jarryd Ebzery and Jaie Robson, both of whom will be competing in the KZ2 class.

“Joining the CRG Australia team for the Australian Kart Championship is the start of a new era for me and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel and go testing,” said Ensbey.

“I feel that with the right team behind me that I’m capable of being able to take out the Championship, I’ve come close on a couple of occasions before, hopefully this year is my year.

“I’ve known the guys at CRG for many years and always been impressed with the way they go about their racing and I’m looking forward to a big year in KZ2 for 2015.”

South Australian Ben Edwards has shown glimpses of his true potential over the past few years in the KF2 class, and with a solid build-up is confident of being a consistent podium finisher in 2015.

Long-time CRG driver Rick Pringle will also return to the team that has assisted him in achieving significant success throughout his career to compete in the KA TaG class.

“Overall I think we’ve got a great line up and one that I think can certainly be mixing it near the front of the field across a variety of classes,” said CRG Australia’s Darren King.

The entire CRG Australia team will complete a test day at the Newcastle circuit in the coming weeks before heading to Melbourne for the opening round of the Australian Kart Championship on April 3-5
