Hot Entry for 200 Super Series' Ken & Ces Ditchfield Memorial

press release 7 May 2015

Round two of the 2015 West Australian 200 Open Super Series blasts into Perth this weekend with an excellent field of twenty five drivers nominating for the event.

The meeting is one of Western Australia’s biggest races - the “Ken & Ces Ditchfield Memorial” - and is held by the Dirt Trackers Kart Club which is located in Perth’s southern suburbs.

Adelaide’s Ben Brown, the current Australian 200 Open champion, headlines the entry list along with fellow South Australians Mark Burford and Chad Rodda.

Burford is fresh from winning the South Australian 200 Open title last weekend at Renmark and Port Pirie's Rodda, who placed fifth, will also provide the local drivers a stern test.

Opening round winner and point leader Joel Ettridge should again be prominent in the results whilst West Australian champion James Inglis and young gun Joe Chalmers also have strong claims on the round win.

Last seasons “Ken & Ces Memorial” winner John Thompson has also entered along with hard chargers, Luke Hughes, Chris Griffiths, Max Fowler, Mark Davis, Nathan Walton and brother’s Matt and Luke Morton.

To highlight the strength of the field, six current Australian champions have entered with Brown (KT Medium, 100 Open, 200 Open), Joe Chalmers (J Open, 125 Light) and James Inglis (Outlaws) in the line-up.

The meeting kicks off first thing Saturday and continues all weekend with Qualifying, Heats, Last Chance Qualifying races, a Lucky Dog (B Dash), A Dash and the main event - the 12 lap Ken & Ces Ditchfield Final.

The 2015 West Australian 200 Open Super Series is proudly supported by W.A. Workshop Supplies, Asteel Powdercoaters, WA Bolts, Hearth House Mandurah & Guildford, Revolution Racegear and Plus Fitness 24/7 Pinjarra and Halls Head.
