Launceston karter Nathan Zuj will be aiming not only to defend his 2014 Clubman Cup title but also make it win number five. The Launceston Kart Club member has been the dominant driver over the past decade.

Zuj has had to defend his title as the best Clubman Light driver many times with a number of up and coming juniors taking him on each year. Hot on his heals lately has been young Hobart driver Bradley Hobden from the Southern Kart Club. Also in contention will be Spreyton's Brody Appleby who has been racing on the mainland recently with some top 10 finishes at national level.

Clubman Heavy will see the biggest field of the weekend with 18 drivers taking the start line on Sunday. Defending Champion AJ Fitzpatrick is unable to make the meeting which will open the door for a number of competitors to take the win, the field has no less than 5 previous winners, with Zane Wyatt, Steven Wrigley, Aiden Shelton, Jamie Bricknell and Jonathan Mcdonald all keen to add another Clubman Cup to their resume. However they will see some tough competition from Launceston's Alastair Lee and Dillon Van Galen along with Hobart's Evan Livingston.

Junior Clubman has also provided a big field with 12 of Tasmanian's best junior drivers competing for their Clubman Cup. Heading the list of favourites will be Westbury's Tayla Heath who defeated a similar field last time out at Launceston and will be aiming for back to back victories. She will have to be at her best tho with a host of Launceston Kart Club members in Jackson Callow, Kurtis Love, Tate Frost and Justin Murphy all keen to add their name to the Clubman Cup trophy.

Also on the race programme Sunday will be Cadet 9, Cadet 12, Junior National, Masters, TaG Restricted and X30 light and heavy.

This meeting is a shakedown to the state title that will be also held at the Launceston Kart Club on the 20th to 22nd November.
