Team CRG Complete Strong Australian Racing Season

Team CRG Australia has completed its 2015 Australian racing season with a string of successes across the new-look season of national level kart racing, including its third consecutive Australian KZ2 Championship.
Jason Pringle was able to back up the efforts of Joey Hanssen over the last two seasons to take a memorable come from behind win in the KZ2 Championship, taking a dominant final win.

Three of the five drivers in with a shot at winning that Title were CRG mounted drivers, with Kyle Ensbey and Jaie Robson in that mix as well.
These results add to the Race of Stars victory by Italian CRG legend, Davide Fore.

Pringle, along with Jason Hryniuk, both represented Australia at the Rotax Max Grand Finals over this past weekend by virtue of their efforts at the Rotax Pro Tour. Hryniuk ended the DD2 Masters category with a top 15 finish, whilst Pringle came home 24th in DD2 - after a weekend that included a spirited battle with former Ferrari Formula 1 pilot, Rubens Barrichello.
Kyle Ensbey showed his true class throughout 2015 to stun everyone at the Race of Stars on the Gold Coast and also completing a top three Championship finish.
Throughout season 2015, Jaie Robson has been one of the standouts on the national karting scene. He was unlucky not to taste victory at the Ipswich round of the Australian Kart Championship and ended his breakout first KZ2 season fourth in the Championship.

Jarryd Ebzery made the step up in season 2015 to KZ2 and rounded his season off with a strong top 15 finish, whilst Matt Erdmann had one of his highlights of the year at the final round in Geelong qualifying just outside the top 10.
Pringle, along with Ensbey and Robson were all powered by Modena engines prepared by Mattia Madami in Sydney at St George Kart Centre.
In Juniors, Shamick Racing's Kai Allen had an outstanding season, ending the KA12 Championship third overall. He was unfortunate not to finish the final round on the podium after running among the top runners in Geelong but some late race angst cruelled his chances. He and team mate James Wharton were also most impressive in the Rotax Pro Tour Mini Max category throughout the season.

Sydney Junior, Adrian Haak is shaping for next year after making strong in-roads through both Micro Max on the Rotax Pro Tour and ending the season making his KA12 debut. He showed promise in charging forward to finish his first AKC final in 11th position having to work his way from deep in the field.
Team CRG Australia boss, Christopher Dell was full of praise for the entire team.
“It is incredible to think that we’ve been able to wrap up our third straight Australian KZ2 Championship in such a competitive year - and have three CRG drivers with Modena power on board in with a shot at the Championship. It is an incredible effort by our entire team,” said Dell.
“We’ve been extremely happy also with the performance of our drivers right across both the first ever Australian Kart Championship and the Rotax Pro Tour, with Jason Pringle and Jason Hryniuk part of the Australian team at the world finals. We hope for more success come season 2016. We’ll definitely be gunning for that fourth straight KZ2 Australian Title.

“Building for the future, we have a strong showing in the junior categories and look forward to the development of our young drivers next season and uncovering the next crop of Australian karting superstars.
“I’d like to thank our team of drivers and mechanics for working so well together as a team, the net result was the whole team moved forward together and achieved some great results.
“To our team manager Darren King thank you for your work in organising all aspects of the team. It is a tough job and your incredibly hard work is greatly appreciated.

Next season, Team CRG Australia will return stronger for the five round Australian Kart Championship, presented by Jayco and Castrol EDGE and the seven event Rotax Pro Tour, whilst continuing support of CRG-mounted drivers at State and local level.
