Troy Loeskow Off To Europe

Troy Loeskow will compete in the European and World Championships with the factory Ricciardo Kart team . The Queenslander will compete in the KZ2 category.

“I’m extremely excited to represent Australia and Ricciardo Kart in the European and World CIK-FIA Championship, with the first event in Eassay (France) in a couple of weeks" Loeskow said.
"The experience with Daniel Ricciardo’s factory team is going to be an enormous and challenging step, but fortunately I am already comfortable with the Ricciardo Kart / IAME package and Birel ART Team. Racing in Europe as a factory driver has been my dream since the beginning of my karting career. As an Aussie, it’s difficult to progress further than the national level in karting, however with the support of Patrizicorse, Ricciardo Kart and my sponsors, I am fortunate to have been given this opportunity.”
"We are very excited to welcome Troy into the Ricciardo Kart factory team" Daniel Ricciardo added.
"We have watched him closely over the last 12 months and his raw speed in his first season of KZ competition was very impressive. Europe will be another challenge, however we are sure if he applies himself like he did in the CIK-FIA Asia-Pacific Championship in Macau, where he matched some of the top European drivers, he will have a great season.
“Our programme has been set up to assist talented youngsters coming through and Troy is the first Australian to benefit from this."

- European KZ2 R2 - Adria, Italy 5/6/2016
- European KZ2 R3 - Genk, Belgium 31/7/2016
- World championships KZ2 - Kristianstad, Sweden 4/9/2016
