The 2016 “Cool Drive Junior Super Series last Sunday rolled into the Nepean Motorsport Complex located in Sydney’s west, to conduct round 3 of the 2016 championship.
After a disappointing round 2 which was cancelled mid-meeting at Gosford by the weather gods, the Cool Drive Super Series drivers were all keen to get back out on track to chase down early championship leader Brayden Shute - and that’s exactly what happened.

The heat racing was fast and intense and a number of surprising results were seen with heat wins going to Brandon Moore, Jack Selmes and Chloe Angilley.
All day the track conditions continued to change and teams were reacting with their setups really well with everyone showing just how skilful these young drivers are.
Come feature time the track had slickened off and the drivers had to have their wits about them with a number of battles happening in the field and positions constantly changing every lap. It really was the race of the day on the program and the crowd that had assembled to watch showed their appreciation at the fall of the chequered flag.
The feature race was taken out by Chloe Angilley with a fantastic drive from her P4 staring position. Second place went to Liam Walker and 3rd place to Jack Selmes.
