The 'cheap 4-stoke' poll has now closed and the results are in!
On June 27 we surmised there was no longer an entry-level engine in Australian karting that can be purchased at an entry-level price.
We asked that if there was a category using an inexpensive (under $1000), sealed entry-level engine, would you switch over to 4-stroke karting?
Above: The final result illustrated. The majority of participants said Yes, they'd switch to 4-stroke if the entry price was low. However, there is a significant number of No answers in here too!
The % breakup was:
- Yes - 52%
- No - 36%
- Not sure - 9%
- Already race 4-stroke - 3%
