"I've been checking out the wheels in Horsham today. First stop was the Wimmera Kart Club, where I announced the club had been successful in Round Two of the Stronger Communities Programme. There's funding coming their way to develop a new Grandstand. Congratulations to all involved."

  • Michael Patrizi drove the wheels off his kart in America on the weekend. No, really, he did! Patrizi lost a rear wheel on the last lap of the Saturday final at SKUSA's SummerNationals in Indiana. "In P5 on the back of P4, the studs snapped... Kart was hooked up, and not bad for a part timer" was written on the PatriziCorse Facebook page. Earlier in the day he qualified an impressive 3rd in a field of 28 before taking 7th and 6th in the heats. For Sunday's round he qualified 5th but again DNF'd the Final. Patrizi drove a Ricciardo Kart with the PSL Karting Birel ART team in the S4 Gearbox class.
