  • EVENT: Ringwood Kart Centre is the naming rights sponsor for the Eastern Lions Kart Clubs' 36th Junior Sprint Classic. "There really is a great opportunity for club level karters to have a go at these open meetings with smaller entries and do quite well" said RKC's Ian 'Moksy' Branson. The event has often attracted interstate entries and the club is hoping for a number this year. "(But) I'd love to fire up some interest in the club-day type drivers to have a crack at these smaller open meetings." All competitors will be issued with a free t-shirt; the size needs to be nominated with the entry. Supp Regs (and t-shirt order form) for the meeting are HERE.

  • DRAMA: Tyre trouble in the USA at the moment with some Evinco tyres tearing up, blistering and delaminating after just a few laps. "...the issue has been traced to a very narrow production window where a suspected raw material may have been contaminated for a small batch of Evinco and MG tires" a SKUSA statement read. Much to SKUSA's credit, karters who have experienced the problem are being given replacement tyres free of charge. The Kart360 website has reported on the problem, plus published a statement from SKUSA. Click HERE for the full story.
