Karting at Big Boys Toys Expo

Members from the Mackay Kart Club spent the weekend promoting karting at the Big Boys Toys Expo which was held in the area for the first time.
"It was two big days with lots of interest from the public" Dave Sturgeon told KartSportNews.
"We had mums, dads and grandparents all enquiring about when little Johnny or Jane could start the sport. Most were surprised at the speed the karts could achieve and the technical nature of the machines.

"We were lucky enough to have karts on display to suit all the current class formula, which certainly helps when explaining the sport.
"A big thanks to the club members for bringing their equipment along and for manning the stand over the weekend."
