Opening club day of the year was presented with perfect weather at Morwell on Sunday and featured plenty of close and entertaining racing.

The club attracted a number of new competitors over the off-season, several making their race debut on the weekend. All categories enjoyed five races accross the day; 4 x 10 lap heats plus a 15-lap final.

Next race meeting at Morwell is March 26.
