from the KA press release...

The Junior Sprockets program is an opportunity for youngsters between the ages of 6 and 14 years to get behind the wheel of a kart.

The Junior Sprockets beginners program is designed to provide budding young karters with the thrill and excitement of kart racing in a safe and controlled environment while being educated by professional instructors and drivers.

All karts and safety equipment are provided for the participants in the beginners section.

For the drivers who are already involved in the sport, a new element of Junior Sprockets has been developed – Junior Sprockets Plus. This element has been designed to provide those drivers who may have been in the sport for a short period of time and already understand the basics of karting.

This element focuses on driving techniques and skills to ensure to provide current licence holders with a boost in their racing while learning in their own equipment.
