First Meet On Whyalla's New Surface

Whyalla had its first meeting on the new surface at the weekend, the “Whyalla City Council Karting Titles”.

Entry numbers were not what the club had hoped for, however everyone who came had a fantastic weekend.

  • The weather was perfect
  • Track condition was excellent
  • All classes broke track records.

The "Inspiration Paints" Teams Event winners (the 1st place Perpetual trophy stays at the Club) were:

1st - Paul Williams, Christian Cowie, Ryan Morgan
2nd - Steven Blee, Callum Fry, Cooper Jones
3rd - Luke Clee, Brayden Stewart, Ky Hubner

Past President Jeff Redjepi gave an overview of the Club over the years, including the amount of work that has been done in the last 6 years. He was extremely happy with the committee and work they have done after he handed over the presidency some 6 years ago.
