Temporary Tyre Rule Change
Karting Australia has advised its licence holders of a temporary change to the permitted wet weather tyres in the Cadet 9, Cadet 12 and KA4 classes, allowing various tyres from Vega, Dunlop, MG and Mojo to be used alongside the regulated Bridgestone.

Antonelli & Keeble Take Euro Round 3
While Freddie Slater was busy celebrating imminent victory in the Junior final, Harley Keeble snatched it by 0.002s in a photo finish at Sarno on the weekend. Australian James Wharton finished 12th in the OK final (includes video).

Italian Andrea Kimi Antonelli and American James Egozi have qualified fastest for round 3 of the European OK and Junior Championship at Sarno, Italy, this weekend. James Wharton posted the 18th fastest time in OK.

Top Trio Claim Goldstar Triple Crown
You could call it the annual Manawatu & TRC Toyota WPKA Goldstar kart racing series’ ‘triple crown’, and despite being incredibly hard to achieve, at the final ‘Championship’ round of the 2020/21 series at Palmerston North last Sunday three drivers – Riley Jack, Jay Urwin and Jackson Culver – had done enough to claim one each.
