Warrnambool Meeting A Week Early

Warrnambool Kart Club will be holding their monthly meeting this Saturday March 16th at the Lake Gilear track, Allansford.
This meeting, which is usually held at the end of the month, has been rescheduled because it would have been in the middle of Easter. It was decided to run this Saturday arvo because Sunday is the Australian Formula One at Albert Park, Melbourne.
The WKC have invited Hamilton and Portland Kart Clubs and other karters will be able to buy a day membership which will enable them to race this meeting. South West Kart Club has shown a lot of interest and there could be others from as far away as Melbourne.
Karter’s will use this meeting for practice for the second round of the Country Series to be held at the Warrnambool track on April 14th. We expect close to two hundred entries at that meeting. They will be coming from as far as Adelaide, Mildura, Albury and Bairnsdale and will represent the best karters in Victoria, if not Australia.
