NSW Southern Star Series - Series Update

press release 3 May 2013

Well the first round of the Southern Star Series is complete. We had 164 entries for the first round in Canberra, ranging from Cadets right through to Open Performance classes.

Since the launch of the Southern Star Series, we have gained a major sponsor to continue to improve this thriving new series. The Southern Star Series will now be known as the "MIA Powder Coating Southern Star Series".

Huge recognition must go to Ash and Gail Woolner for their kind support toward this series.

The committee look forward to working with the team at MIA Powder Coating to develop a series that will continue to develop into a dominating event on the karting calender.

MIA Powdercoating can provide any abrasive blasting and powder coating, from industrial equipment down to  a single kart chassis. Show your support for a local business that has shown support for your series!!

After 2 months off the track the MIA Powder Coating Southern Star Series will continue at Wagga Wagga on May 11 and 12. After large class numbers and great racing in Canberra, numbers are expected to rise in what will be a very interesting race meet on one of the quickest tracks in Australia.

Please be aware that no series regos will be taken after the second round at Wagga Wagga. To be in the draw for the series prize pool, you must be a registered driver.
