  1 August 2013

The Albury Wodonga Kart Club had a big day on Sunday with Jordan Boys being presented with a number 1 Nassau Panel for his achievements at the Australian Championships in SA earlier in the year.

Jordan finished 1st in Junior National Heavy, making him the first ever club member to become a National Champion.

Sherry Richardson presented Jordan with his Nassau Panel & a shield that will be hung in the Clubrooms.

"We are extremely proud of Jordan, he is having a great year" Richardson informed KartSportNews.

"It has taken a bit to get him to a Club Day to present him with his Nassau panel, as he has been away racing at Bundaberg in the Queensland Open State Titles, where he came 1st again in Junior National Heavy & 4th in JMAX.

"He has also been racing at the Rotax Pro Tour with some fantastic results. He is currently sitting in 4th position in the Pro Tour rankings, so as a club we have our fingers crossed that he will have a great result at the upcoming Rotax Nationals at Puckapunyal, which would see him in the top 3 and make him a member of the Australian Team to represent Australia racing in America in November."

Jordan spoke after the presentation thanking the club & everyone who has helped make his results possible. He also mentioned that it would be great if anyone could help out with some sponsorship deals. (If you are interested in sponsoring Jordan you can contact his Mum, Leanne, at Albury Automotive on 02 6041 4241).
