DIMITRI'S DAY - Sydney teenager wins Franco's shield.

As this edition of KARTX was drying on the print press the National Karting Council of the Australian Karting Association was meeting for the final time in Sydney and the sports New CEO was announced.

The new Board of Directors is scheduled to take the reins of the sport as of September 1 as the sport moves into it’s next chapter.

The team at KARTX would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Club, State and National Delegates, Representatives, Executives and other volunteers who have dedicated so much to growing the sport of karting throughout the years under the previous structure.

Now, it’s time for the next era with a skilled Board of Directors to lead the way, all of whom are specialised and experienced in their specific areas, and we’re looking forward to what the future holds.

In the immediate future, the sport will focus on the Rotax Nationals at Puckapunyal. Inside this edition we take a look at the contenders for this event while also checking out all of the action from the most recent round of the Castrol EDGE CIK Stars of Karting Series at Eastern Creek  plus much more.
