Australian Titles Go On The Line

The fields have been set, the track has been prepared and the drivers are ready, the 2013 Aussie Forklift Repairs Australian Speedway Karting Titles are set to ignite. The New South Wales Speedway Kart club will host the fourth running of the event as drivers from all over the country will converge on the Nepean Raceway venue this weekend in hope to secure themselves an AKA Australian Speedway Title. Over the course of Saturday and Sunday drivers will compete in four rounds of heats before a 20 lap final on Sunday afternoon that will determine the 2013 champions. The final class we preview for the 2013 titles is the Clubman Over 40’s.

Peter Archer is back to defend his 2012 crown. Archer has always been a strong competitor in the Over 40’s class and is expected to be fighting for the victory again. He will be challenged however from all angles this weekend.

Wayne Baines is more than just an experienced competitor when it comes to Speedway Karting. Baines already has an impressive list of Australian Title Wins and is looking to add to that come Sunday afternoon.

Another man to keep your eyes on is Gary Morris. Morris is the current NSW Title holder and is hoping to add to his maiden title he won back in June.

Up to seventy plus drivers will all be fight for the seven Australian Titles that are up for grabs this weekend. Speedway Legend Mr Sid Hopping is the Grand Marshall for the event. Racing will get underway at 10am on both Saturday and Sunday, entry is $5 for adults and all canteen facilities will be open. You will the 2013 AKA Australian Speedway Karting Titles at Nepean Raceway on Rickards Road, Castlereagh.
