  • The second and final round of the Australian Superkart Championship (for the 250 Inter, 250 National and 125 Gearbox classes) will be run at Phillip Island this weekend as part of the Shannons Nationals round. Sunday's track action will be live-streamed HERE. 29 Superkarters from four states will compete for the three titles on offer. Entry list is HERE.

  • Entries for the NSW State Championship close tomorrow (Friday, Sep 20). Links to Supp Regs and addendums via the Race Calendar page.

  • KARTX Magazine will be heading to America to capture the action from this year's SKUSA SuperNationals in Las Vegas. "We photographed this event back in 2010 and can't wait to get back there" KARTX's Ash Budd wrote on Facebook.

  • Speaking of the 17th running of the SuperNationals, there are currently over 500 (yes, five hundred!) entrants across the 11 classes. TaG Senior was one of the first to fill (80 drivers) and has a reserve list of another 20. A range of established car racing stars, from NASCAR to F1, has entered in several of the categories. There is a bit of a lack of big-name European drivers in the KZ category, which organisers attribute to the World Championship round in Bahrain on the same weekend. But there are still 2 months to go, so expect further announcements in the coming weeks. ekartingnews has published a preview about all this on their website HERE.
