• AKA addendum about the AKA43 air filter element, as a result of August NKC Conference, effective from September 27 - Alteration to rule 25.24 (h) to now read as below (the PDF is HERE):
  • 25.24 Noise Induction Silencer.
    (h) The rubber adaptor is black in colour and the filter can be either blue or yellow.
    
    
• KartSport New Zealand has also made a rule change, clarifying a competitor can only race in one age group at a race meeting, and another about Cadet rear axles (25mm solid shaft in simple bearings with two-piece mounting plates and no quick-release or ride height adjustment). • The long running monthly UK print publication 'Karting Magazine' is set to close shop. The publisher, Lodgemark Press, has decided to cease production with immediate effect. The magazine has been in print since March 1960. Unless an 11th-hour deal results in a new publisher taking over the title, the November issue, #692, will be the last from this iconic title.
