Arrow Karts Australia and Harrington Doyle Racing (HDR) are together pleased to announce today, an exclusive new Manufacturers’ Support Program and technical partnership for the Yatala based Karting team.

The factory support deal from Arrow Karts Australia will see the HDR Team exclusively use new Arrow Karts in all classes that it competes in nationally from 1st November, 2013; and receive valuable technical support from the manufacturer and its suppliers.  The first of 3 new Karts have already been delivered to the Team’s workshop and more will follow in coming months.

As part of the new arrangements, the HDR Team has also decided to expand upon its current KF Pro Light and Junior National Light racing program, to add new additional 2014 competitor entries in the TaG 125cc classes.

“At HDR we’re very proud to again partner with another great Australian Manufacturing company and we look forward to the technical strength, race expertise and the depth of support that Arrow Karts Australia will bring to our Team from their Melbourne factory and headquarters.

"With Arrow’s experience of 1 World Rotax Championships, 92 Australian National Karting Titles and 915 Australian State Karting Championships since their first range of Arrow branded Karts was launched in 1987, and our own Team’s continued development program since 2007, I’m confident that we will be powerful performers both on and off the track in 2014 in every regard,” said HDR Team Manager, Craig Doyle about the new partnership.

Steve Johnson, Sales & Marketing Manager of Arrow Karts Australia also reflected on the new arrangement in saying, “We are very excited with this new partnership and look forward to a strong future together. HDR is a professional organisation which shows with the long term support they receive from key sponsors like Inox, Motul, Toyworld & Orrcon Steel. HDR has also proven over the last six years that they are capable of spotting talent and developing young karter’s into future champions. “

The association between Arrow Karts Australia and Harrington Doyle Racing will also cleverly bring together the continued promotion of new Arrow Distributor brands, Motul Engine Oils, RK Chains and MG Tyres, recently acquired through the part purchase from Remo Racing.

Further to these mutual branding opportunities, current Arrow Karts Australia supported driver Brendan Nelson will re-join his former race team Harrington Doyle Racing full time in 2014, further reinforcing the resources of the new HDR Arrow Karts partnership.

“We have always been determined to build a strong and sustainable team”, said Doyle. “HDR has been a great development team with the likes of Callum Walker, Mitchell Gee, Brooke Topp, Brendan Nelson and James Greenwood standing out from a long and rich list of team drivers, and most recently Harrison Oddie and Jarryd Ebzery are demonstrating their abilities in national level racing.

"I have always been very proud to have access to and support the great local talent, partners and resources that surround us here in SEQ.  I feel honoured and re-energised to be able to now formally represent Arrow Karts Australia and our continuing loyal Team Partners professionally in the year ahead.”

HDR Arrow Karts will roll out their first new Arrow X3 KF Pro Light Kart ahead of schedule with an interim 2014 livery at the Gold Coast 600 Race of Stars event on October 19, 2013, to be held at the Gold Coast Motorsport Training Centre, 540 Staplyton-Jacobs Well Road, Pimpama Queensland, home of XtremeKarting.com.
